Quest, challenges and such.

Finally updating after a long hiatus. Not from creating art that is but basically updating my instagram and tumblr far more often. Also dealing with life drama and such, especially with last month here in Orlando with the shooting.

Such horror happening close by has cemented my view of the uncertainty of life and that I cant settle for the 9-5 grind which is becoming old fashioned and for me very stifling and unhealthy. It is far more infuriating when you have to deal with needs less drama, egos and basically controlling nutters. I shall see what this month will round out as far as my personal progress, times for taing it easy and relaxing are over. Autumn learning

Well September has ben an interesting month if for learning and getting re-aquainted with that old core of learning from my early days I touched in my last ranty post. Still in O-town and ma have a few things line up for October, otherwise I have my own progress to attend to.  Here are some scans of sketches and such, finished stuff to follow soon.

Surprise, surprise...surprise.

Well I'm trying to get back into the habit of frequently scanning and updating this blog o mine. Funny to think it's been almost 8 years or so since I started this thing or rather funny to think how long I've been blogging and posting my sketches and such. Lately many of the same things have been on my mind concerning creating art and such. I 've heard a whole bunch of suggestions, some invited and quite a few uninvited ones. Yet I have to stay true to myself honestly, I can and no longer will apologize for that. Any how on to some recent recent sketches.

Low in the clouds

Well back in the good old FL, left behind the oncoming winter in the land of wind and smelly onions. It was a good for the experience and learning a bit. Came down to see my brothers and family here and am now surprised to find my self in another city. It's where I'll be for now I guess till something else pushes me elsewhere.  As usual I've been honing my craft, with the daily sketching and drawing. Check kmrussellart.tumblr.com for daily updates.
